The Penguin is one of Batman's major enemies, probably the most dangerous one next to the Joker. His trademark are his formal wear and deadly umbrellas that he likes to use to execute his plans.

The Penguin received his alias from a childhood nickname, bestowed by his peers, who teased him because of his grotesque appearance and love of birds.
